Birds of Paradise by Eshton Chua

Eshton has a background in furniture design, and has worked within the furniture industry for a few years before he decided to venture into shoe design. His main theme for his shoes are feathers, commonly found in multiple cultures adorning festive costumes and celebratory outfits, the shoes allow for each user to find their own connection with it. Drawing from his three-dimensional design methodology and experiences from his travels, he uses these pairs of shoes to create a commentary on society’s focus on the importance of nature, whether in the present or the future.
