Retrofuturism by Jessica Soo

Jessica has more than 15 years of experience in the fashion and retail industry as a former in-house trainer with companies such as Charles & Keith, and Pedro, just to name a few. Jessica was a former fashion design student from Temasek Polytechnic. Her design theme is retrofuturism. Many of the world’s natural resources, flora, and fauna are feared to be lost by 2118. She uses the colour white and flowers to represent the need to return to basics when nature may be depleted and lots of metal will be infused into our future daily lives. Jessica believes her design is also very much influenced by her own personal journey, reflecting the choices and sacrifices she’s made to balance between sustainability and demands she must meet in her own life.
